Spinal Health Week 2025 — Tech Neck
Spinal Health Week 2025 focused on Tech Neck — the postural strain that builds up through prolonged use of phones, tablets and computers. When the head is held forward and the neck is bent downward for extended periods, the load on the cervical spine increases significantly, often leading to neck pain, headaches, upper back tension and referred shoulder symptoms.
Chiropractic care can help assess and address the postural load on the cervical spine. If you are experiencing neck pain, frequent headaches or tightness between the shoulder blades — particularly if these symptoms have developed or worsened alongside increased screen time — call us to discuss whether a chiropractic assessment is appropriate for you.

Sore Back? Consider a Chiro?
Back pain is one of the most common reasons people first visit a chiropractor — and it is one of the conditions chiropractic has the strongest evidence base for addressing. A sore back is rarely just a sore back: it often involves surrounding muscle tightness, postural imbalance, or referred pain from structures along the spine.
At Footscray Chiropractic Clinic, a first consultation begins with a thorough assessment. We look at your history, your posture, your range of motion and your specific symptoms before recommending a course of care. If X-ray is indicated, we have onsite facilities to image and review in the same visit.
If you have been putting off doing something about a sore back — call us. (03) 9687 3886
